Okposo Day-to-Day with Eye Injury

Kyle Okposo is not practice today with his teammates, due to an eye injury suffered during last Saturday’s preseason game against the Devils.

The Islanders official twitter account is reporting that he is day-to-day with the injury. The injury occurred in the third period of the game when he took an opposing players stick to the face. He received several stitches and said that he was fine after the game.

Anders Lee appears to be taking Okposo’s spot in practice today.
