Predators Vs. Islanders Pre-Game Report

UNIONDALE, N.Y. — The Islanders are getting down to the wire, with just three preseason contests left, including tonight’s rendezvous with the Nashville Predators.

Head coach Jack Capuano said this morning that Evgeni Nabokov will get the start and is expected to play the entire game. His last preseason start came Saturday, when the Islanders played the Devils at the Barclays Center.

As for the lineup, the Isles are fielding a roster that could very well be seen on opening night. Here is the lineup, per Newsday’s Arthur Staple:

Moulson-Tavares-Bailey
Grabner-Nielsen-Lee
Nelson-Regin-Bouchard
Martin-Cizikas-McDonald

Hickey-Visnovsky
MacDonald-Hamonic
Strait-Donovan

Nashville is also fielding a roster that likely resembles the one they put out on opening night.

The Preds practiced in Nashville and flew out to Long Island this afternoon. They will fly right back home after the game. The Islanders will have a split squad game on Sunday against the Ottawa Senators.
