It’s a battle between two struggling teams, and two former dynasties, tonight at Nassau Coliseum.

Both clubs are winless in their last three games; Edmonton fell to the Pittsburgh Penguins 2-1 on Monday. The Isles fell 4-3 in a shootout on Tuesday night to Buffalo.
Evgeni Nabokov will get his third consecutive start in net tonight for the Islanders. Colin McDonald and Matt Donovan are back in the lineup. Brock Nelson, Eric Boulton and Matt Carkner will be scratches.
